We had the best experience selling and then buying a house with Kristen. Kristen goes out of her way in every aspect. Friendly and very professional. Kristen is amazing. As first time home buyers, I was nervous and overwhelmed. She was patient and she made sure that she told us all the details of the home. What I loved most is that she was down to earth, always smiling and she was honest! I definitely recommend her!!

My husband and I met Kristen originally in January 2015, she patiently sat down with usb, answered all of our questions and showed us 3 homes. Unfortunately, we weren't quite ready to buy, so we continued to rent for another year. Then in May 2016, we went back to her and inevitably bought our dream home. She fought hard for us and we got it below asking (which is impossible in this market)! I would recommend her in a heartbeat!! She was very respectful of our needs not only financially, but realistically as a family.

what I really appreciated was she told her honest opinion of what vibes she felt on a house we were considering ,which was a factor to me as a first time home owner . kristen didnt seem like she was in a rush to hustle us to buy a house for her benefit more like what she felt were we would be happy in the long run as she was really knowledgeable pertaining to what we were looking for . I felt at ease and comfort going thru the process doing business with her as a first time home owner . she had me feeling confident in my decisions as she took the time to explain every proceedure we were going thru; not feeling doubt 'totally understanding the whole process ,just like a family member would make you feel .

Kristen, was very good and walked us through every part of the sell. Her staging was very nice and made the house look even better. Even volunteered her husband to fix a few small things at no cost!!

As first time home buyers, our situation was further complicated by the fact that we were going to be purchasing our house from afar. My husband was overseas and I was living in a different state. We knew we would not be able to see the homes in person, which means we were not the ideal clients for a realtor. Kristen was amazing from the very start. She gave us a clear picture of the current market, walked us through the home buying process, and explained that as long as we were serious buyers she would put the work in. And boy did she! She went to see so many houses for us, taking detailed video and talking through the pros and cons of each. After losing out on what we thought was our dream home, we got a bit disheartened and started trying to settle just to get the search over with. Even though it would have been easier for her to let us put an offer in on a house we didn't love, she absolutely forbade it. She steered us away from houses that looked great but weren't in great locations or that we might have a hard time selling in the future. Through her actions, she made it clear from the very beginning that she cared more about making sure we were happy than getting us a house quickly and moving on to the next potential buyer. Once our offer was accepted, she was with us every step of the way through the loan process. Making sure we were getting the answers we needed from the mortgage company. When I could only come out on a weekend for the inspection, she convinced an inspector to come out on his day off. When I got stuck in traffic and missed the entire inspection, she stayed with him got all of the details and then stayed with me to review all of the findings. There are so many stories like this. Saying she went above and beyond the call of duty is a gross understatement. She's an amazing realtor, and amazing person and we're very lucky to have worked with her.

Kristen is awesome. She knows Whidbey and was so helpful to me and my husband. When we had to make an offer fast, she made it happen on a Sunday night despite being 9 months pregnant! Seriously! She helped us buy a fixer view property and made sure we had loads of contingencies in our offer so we could have time to investigate the feasibility of updating the property. She has great relationships with local contractors and lenders. I would recommend her to anyone without reservations.

My brother recently bought a house with Kristen's help and he was so satisfied that he introduced her to us. Kristen helped Elaine and me with every aspect of purchasing our new home on Whidbey Island. When you move to a small town it is critically important to understand the people, how you might fit in, what it is like to live there. Kristen has been wonderful not only in helping us with finding and buying a home that we love, but she has also reached out to introduce us to our new neighbors. She made the process fun, was always cheerful and helped us to feel welcome. Bravo Kristen!

From the beginning Kristen explained her role and the process clearly and frankly. She helped me through every step, from pricing, to maximizing my homes exposure, showing quality and dealing with the buyers. She worked with my parameters and kept me calm and patient when I got anxious or nervous and celebrated a great sale with me in the end. She did such a great job facilitating the best possible photos of my house and that made such a difference and made for a quick sale. I appreciate all of the hard work that was put into making the rather hectic process as simple as could be for us and it was!

Kristen was amazing. From the negotiation with our sellers to managing the listing agent (an highly underrated needed skill!), she knew her stuff, and handled things with exceptional professionalism. We felt like she treated us as how she would treat her family or inner circle friends - the number one sign that you are getting top tier representation.

It would be impossible for me to overstate what an asset Kristen was to us while going through the process of purchasing our first home. From the beginning, we were faced with a number of challenges, but having Kristen to guide us made every detail go more smoothly than I could have imagined. Moving to Whidbey Island from Florida meant that we had to do a lot of our looking online, with only a quick weekend trip for me to fly up and look at homes in person. Thankfully, Kristen kept our search focused. So focused, in fact, that by the end of the weekend, we had put an offer on a home. There was never a doubt that she had our best interests at heart. From then on, all the paper work, inspection, etc. had to be done remotely. Kristen was there every step of the way, making Facetime calls and answering all of our questions immediately. We had never purchased a home before, and although it was scary because we knew NOTHING, I was always reassured after speaking with Kristen because she seems to know EVERYTHING. We have a number of friends moving to the area, and recommend her services to everyone we know who is looking for a home. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking to buy or sell a home on Whidbey Island, she is a true asset.

Kristen sold our home in TWO DAYS!! Her knowledge of the housing market helped us come to a price that we were comfortable with and, obviously, right on target. Kristen is easy to communicate with and was always available to answer any questions we might have had. We would, and have, recommended her to friends that are thinking about putting their home on the market. We feel very fortunate that she was ready to help us when we showed up at her office with no appointment.

The only reason that Kristen received 3 stars on the 'Negotiation" was because the party we bought from was a pain in the you know what. She was prompt and honest even when things were being delayed. There were no surprises with her which made this first time buying experience an easier transition and less stressful. She worked with our very busy schedules and spent time outside of what I would call 'normal working hours' to respond to our needs. Kristen is a spectacular realtor and definitely over succeeded our expectations. We feel very grateful that we stumbled into the office at the right time.
