I needed to sell my Father's home after he had passed away and Greg was recommended to me. Right from the first conversation I knew I had made the right choice. We were interested in learning more about a property that didn’t have many photos posted and it was on the market for a long time. When he finally responded to us and our realtor, it seemed like we were inconveniencing him. If you say the house isn’t worth it then why are you selling it? If you don’t want to talk about it, the description should be updated stating it’s a full rehab, what it needs, and the options are cash or rehab loans. Was surprised he basically said “just walk around the property”. But I don’t want to trespass! Didn’t want to schedule a showing, beat around the bush when we asked for additional photos. The entire experience was just very strange and nerve racking.

Greg helped us find our first home. He was very knowledgeable about all areas we looked at and the surrounding areas and schools and businesses. Greg was very understanding and considerate to all our needs and expectations of a house. He was very kind always on time and was very fast with all our paperwork. Greg’s awesome and is exactly what you would want in an agent when buying or selling. Greg managed the sale of our home which went very smoothly. He was on top of all aspects of the sale, gave us gentle nudges when needed and was pleasant and professional every step of the way. Thanks to Greg my wife and I were able to purchase our forever dream home. We couldn’t have asked for a better realtor to work with! During our time working through the process of buying our new home, Greg was patient, understating and went above and beyond. He has an intimate knowledge of the RI and eastern side of CT which was a great asset for us, as out of staters. I was introduced to Greg by a mutual friend. I live in GA, and needed a good Real Estate Agent in RI. We met over the phone, and 24 hours after we posted the MLS we have 2 potential buyers. One of those potential buyers now owns the house left to me in an Estate. I had to leave RI and get back to GA, but Greg and I talked on the phone and I was completely comfortable with him and what we needed to do to complete the transaction. He handle all the final details, including taking care of a small hole on the caulking around the "stink pipe" on the roof personally. I could not have been anymore satisfied with anyone else. Long story short, Greg went above and beyond during the sale of my house in every way. He handled the numerous complicating factors/issues (discussed below) that occurred during the sale flawlessly. Given everything that happened during this process and the way he was able to handle that all, I would fully trust his judgment and advice in any residential RE transaction. I generally never write reviews, and I hate posting a lot of information on the internet, but in this case, I feel compelled to, based on how well Greg handled everything. As a quick background, I moved out of Rhode Island around 5 years ago and rather than selling my house at that time I began renting it out. In early 2017 the house had a broken water pipe that caused incredibly extensive damage that required the full gutting and replacement of the interior. The repairs were expected to be completed in late January 2018, but for various reasons, this was delayed to early May 2018. Given the expected timeline, I reached out to Greg in the fall of 2017, he provided me with a great overview of the sales process (which would be complicated by the necessary repairs) and market overview. At that time he asked if it would be okay if he discussed the progress of the repairs directly with the contractor- as I live thousands of miles away, of course I said yes! From that time forward, Greg reached out to me on a periodic basis to compare notes about the construction process and to get my thoughts on when to put the house on the market. When the house went on the market, it was still just a shell and based on this I really tempered my expectations on the sales price and how long it would take to market. However, Greg ended up exceeding all expectations, he quickly had multiple showings lined up and within a week or so had an offer that was better than I was expecting. He must have been able to get the buyer to see through what the house and give them a vision of what it would be after all the repairs were complete. Based on discussions with my contractor we set the close date as late April (which at the time was supposed to be the worst case scenario), with an option to close earlier if the house got the certificate of occupancy. During the entire escrow period, Greg made trips (on a more than weekly basis) to the house to ensure progress was being made. This ended up being crucial, as he was able to quickly identify that fact that the contractor was falling behind schedule. Rather than just informing me of this (which he did), he also reached out directly to the contractor to ensure they were aware of the closing schedule. In the end, the house was certified in early May and sold a week after the original date- if Greg had not been involved I believe that the construction could have easily dragged on for another month or more. Greg kept in contact with the buyer’s agent and kept them informed of the progress as well, so they weren’t surprised when we had to push the close date. There was also portion of the project that the contractor couldn’t complete in time for close and Greg negotiated a very reasonable cash concession, which was very satisfactory to me because after dealing with the situation remotely for a year, I just wanted to be done. There were last minute mistakes that were made on the closing documents that Greg identified and had corrected before it became a problem. I never met Greg in person, but that never felt like a problem, he remained incredibly professional throughout this process and was willing to listen to more than a few of my rants about aspects of this whole process that were entirely outside the scope of the realtor contract. Multiple other parties made this whole process way more painful than it needed to be, Greg seemed to be the only one that made it easier. He was the only one that I really could ever get a timely, straightforward answer to any of my questions from, and he provided solutions, rather than just problems.

Greg is hard working and someone I would highly recommend. He went above and beyond to sell our house including helping to coordinate the installation of a new septic system, as well as even helping to clear snow off the room after a bad storm so that the roofers would be able to complete the job on schedule prior to the closing. If you want someone who is honest and looking out for your best interest, go with Greg.
