We highly recommend Mary Chapman for any real estate needs and would partner with her again in a minute. We have bought and sold several homes over the years, the latest was 10 years ago. Mary helped us sell our Oregon City home. Because it had been a while and things have changed, we had questions along the way. Mary was very intuitive to our needs and frankly, wants. She took the time to understand us and the home we were selling. Mary was always on top of things with thorough explanations, communication and the ‘Whys’ behind things. As usual, there were a few things that came up on the buyer’s inspection. For a few of the items, we weren’t sure who to turn to for the work. Victoria was very easy to get a hold of and answered any questions I had. She never tried to upsell or glorify a home or try to convince me to buy, she instead gave us honest feedback of each home or things she noticed during our walkthroughs that may need maintenance, things to consider in different neighborhoods or builds of home etc. We really liked that about her because it felt like we had someone that was in our corner just trying to help us find the best deal we could and didn't come off as salesy. A few months ago I decided to stop letting my fears and excuses hold me back from moving on into my desired third act of life. The biggest beginning step was selling my home. I met Chris almost 3 years ago while he was helping my parents relocate from the Midwest. At the time, I was not looking to buy a house because I was renting and didn’t think I could afford to. After talking with Chris and working with him so closely to help out my parents, my boyfriend and I decided to make the leap. Not knowing where to start, Chris met with us after work one day to walk us through the process and answer any questions we had. Obviously one question led to another and I felt like we were bothering him all the time. Chris is patient and kind, and funny to boot. He never made us feel like a burden. We looked at A LOT of houses (mainly because I’m picky) and he never once blew us off or got frustrated. I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s knowledgeable, he’s great at negotiating and he’s really good at keeping his client’s feet on the ground when they feel like they are about to spiral. Buying a house can be stressful and scary, but Chris made it fun. He clears up any misunderstanding and always keeps you up to date so you’re never left wondering what’s next. Mona is the best to work with, cannot recommend her highly enough. As out of state buyers we were only in town for a week, and Mona did an amazing job setting up as many showings as possible in the short time we were there. Mona is very intuitive, picking up on preferences with each showing, and ended up recommending a house that we had not selected, which is the house we absolutely fell in love with.
